My Background…

I bring 20+ years of running experience combined with an in-depth understanding of muscle strengthening & injury prevention to help you reach your unique goals! Over the years, I’ve gone through numerous and varied injuries, which have fueled my passion for continuous learning about rehabilitation, strengthening, and prevention. I have gained valuable expertise working with physical therapy patients, coaching high school runners, and guiding personal training clients.

Through high school, I competed in cross country and track, earning all-state honors. I went on to run for Aquinas College, where I was a 4-time competitor at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships, and in my final season, captained the team to secure a top 10 national ranking. That final race and the journey to it was one of the most rewarding times in my life. a piece of my heart will always be tied to the amazing experience of training and racing with my AQ Ladies.

Since college, I’ve enjoyed competing in various 5 and 10k races, as well as long distance races, including the Pinckney Trail Half Marathon, the Sleeping Bear Half Marathon, and the Tahqua Trail 25k.

Why Running Coaching?

  • Injury Prevention

Many people fall in love with running but miss the importance of supplemental strength training. Running asks a lot of the body, and in order to stay strong and healthy, key muscles must be cared for and strengthened. My aim is to help you run stronger for longer by guiding you through the appropriate strengthening and stretching.

  • Form Improvement

Learn the small changes you can make to your body positioning as you run, so that you can run with more speed and efficiency and prevent injury!

  • Accountability

Knowing that someone is checking in on your efforts can be the extra boost you need to move toward your goals!
